If all goes well I'm going off to uni next year - and I am extremely excited (and kind of scared as well). I never really knew what I wanted to study / but I now feel like I've made a decision. It's a bit early to say that but I visited the 'VU Amsterdam' today and I really enjoyed being there and I'd love to move to Amsterdam next year!
A friend of mine and I visited the university today (well, on the 8th of November, 'today's' a bit later) and we went to Amsterdam (the center) later today and we had a great day!
Oh - and this was the first time for me to take my new Fujifilm X20 with me! I didn't really have the opportunity to take many pictures (only had lectures about certain parts of the university and did some shopping) but I tried taking some little snaps throughout the day.
There'll be a little explanation of all the photographs at the bottom of this post!
Okay - so you might be thinking: what did you do? Well - like I said: we first visited the university but had to be there quite early and travel for a few hours so we were kind of tired when we got there and I didn't feel comfortable taking many pictures. We had a little sandwich (and I had some fries, because, fries!) and we spent some more time at the university - which I really enjoyed! We then hopped on the train to go to the center of the city / a very busy but a very lovely part. We visited some stores (you see some photographs taken in Urban Outfitters, such an amazing store interior wise / and you can see a photograph taken in Monki as well) - and we then had dinner. After buying some Jelly Beans (I'm addicted to the cinnamon one! So Christmassy!) we walked to the Central Station and went back home again / tired but satisfied. I bought a sweater and a little cosmetic bag and a notebook (because I'm still Sjoukje after all) and I'll probably show you in a future blogpost. I hope you liked reading this post! X
