I have been using these Formula 10.0.6 products for a while and they are quite interesting - I love one of the products and I still don't know if I like the other. If you're interested in my opinion on the Foaming Cleanser and the Mattifying Moisturizer, read on!
Best Face Forward / Daily Foaming Cleanser: Passionfruit + Green Tea
I bought this foaming cleanser a while ago because it was on sale and I thought I'd like the smell of it (and I needed a new daily cleanser). It's one of those cleansers you need to put on your slightly wet hands, rub a bit and then put on your damp face. After rubbing your face for a bit you'll notice that your face feels clean and you can wash it off: which is an easy thing to do as the substance is really foamy. I love the smell of this product: it smells like a sweet tea: natural and 'healthy'. The cleanser claims to wash away oil and I really think it does: my face feels really soft and dry after using this foaming cleanser. It's a lovely cleanser to wake up with in the morning as it's really fresh and it feels like it wipes the fatigue of your face: ready for a new day. I'm really happy with this product and I've been using it regularly for the past few weeks.
Because I was so enthousiastic about the foaming cleanser, I immediately bought this moisturizer when I saw it was on sale as well. I thought I'd like the Aloe Vera and Bamboo scent, as I love the scent of a live Aloe Vera plant. When I first used it I was surprised in a negative way: I hate the scent of the product. I thought, 'well, maybe it's super moisturizing', but it's not moisturizing in any way: it makes my skin feel really dry.
I decided to try to get used to the smell of the product because I wanted to see if it'd moisturize my skin in any way and I found out it's a great 'base' for my daycream. I know it sounds weird, because, shouldn't a moisturizer be moisturizing your skin without needing another moisturizing product? - but the product really keeps the shine off of my face during the day. I don't know if this was the intention of the product but I'm glad I found a way of being able to use the product, I initially did not like.
I don't know if I'll be buying any more products from the range as it's really tricky, loving one product / kind of hating the other. I really like the packaging: it looks clean, modern and really good on your bathroom shelve. I paid about 5 euros for each product, they usually are around 8 euros each - which'd be a decent price for a good moisturizer. I did some research about the brand but it was kind of vague: the brand was created by an anonymous chemist in 1933 and that was about all I could find. But hey, information doesn't matter when the products work!
So a quick summary: I really like the foaming cleanser (the substance, the smell, the feeling after using it) but I strongly dislike the advertising of the moisturizer (it doesn't really moisturize).
