Hey there everybody!
It's Monday today (when taking the photographs) and I'd normally have no time to take pictures of everything I do because I'd be in school, but I had a day off today and I decided to capture my daily activities when I have no absolute obligations.
I did this too back in July 2014, click here to read that post.
I woke up, put on some comfy clothes and went downstairs - and saw our living room was now decorated with new tulips! (1) I love tulipes. <3 I boiled some eggs (2), and made some delicious sandwiches (3). I decided to relax a little bit, drink some tea, enjoy my free morning and watch some 'Disaster Date' on MTV (4).
After a long & relaxing period of time doing nothing I decided to get dressed (1). My outfit was comfy (all my outfits are) - I'm wearing my new high waisted black jeans (C&A), a simple shirt (Primark), a comfy cardigan (ONLY), and my beloved white Dr Martens. I didn't wear any make up because I love letting my skin 'breathe' on days like these.
I had to get some stuff done (2) and studied for my driver's education theory exam because I can't continue my driver's education without it.
I usually drink tea, but I think coffee is a nice break every now and then. This is how I make mine: I pour some soy milk into a glass (1), frother it (2), add some kind of coffee flavor (my favorite is caramel! (3)) and pour the coffee into the glass (4).
The result! Doesn't it look super awesome?!
Took another break after the previous break-taking, because that's what I do *emoji with the sunglasses*. I decided to visit my grandparents and walked there, because it was the first dry day after a few rainy ones. I've been into SBTRKT lately (1) even though it's not my regular style.
It doesn't look like winter at all in The Netherlands: it feels like it's been a regular autumn day (2).
My sister was at my grandparent's as well and I had to take a picture of her new shirt (3), it looks so retro! My grandmother's cake is the best. <3 (4).
My grandfather always saves the photography-pages of the daily newspaper for me. <3
It was dark when I got home again and dinner was ready (1): potatoes with haricots and a layer of cheese - one of my favorite meals. My mum and I made a trip to the supermarket after dinner because I wanted to get some stuff for tomorrow (another day off! Yay!) (4).
I created a new post (the one that went up the day before yesterday) and decided it was time to turn my laptop off and relax a little bit. Today hasn't been a busy day but I did quite some studying on my driver's ed, did a few things for my blog - even though it was a relaxing day I'm tired. I decided to treat myself with a face mask (4) and I re-discovered this 'I love...' hand cream - it smells so fresh, but sweet at the same time! (3).
I have to re-read some books for my IB exams in May so I better start doing that. The book has been laying around on my bed all day but I don't like re-reading books (unless the book is one of my absolute favorites - which Margaret Atwood's 'The Handmaid's Tale' is not. I liked the book, but I feel like now I've read it once, I know enough).
I'm so tired right now and I'll probably watch some Netflix - but I don't know what! I finished New Girl, Modern Family - all the series I've been watching have no more episodes for me to watch so I keep on watching random movies. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Good night! Love, Sjoukje
I have a quick question. I want to buy a new laptop and I'm considering buying a Macbook as I've heard so many great things about them - but I don't know which one to buy. I can't decide whether to buy the 13" Macbook Pro (non-retina display), or the 13" Macbook Air. If you're using one of those two laptops (or another one), I'd be grateful if you'd share your experiences in the comments below.
