None Of Your Beeswax & Lip Service

My lips have been extremely dry lately and no lip balm has been able to nourish them. It wasn't a big deal - I could live with it - until I found out about Lush' lip balms: and at this point I can't recall what having dry lips feels like.

Both lip balms are quite solid, like coconut oil when it's cold, but keeping them in your pocket for a few minutes makes the product a bit more liquid so it's easier to apply. The lip balms leave my lips soft but my lips don't absorb the lip balm right away: just the right amount of grease is left.

None Of Your Beeswax

'A balm with coconut oil and lemon for a fresh kiss', is what my little Dutch tin says. The lip balm doesn't smell like coconut: it smells like lemon and vanilla. This lip balm is vegan.

Lip Service

'A miracle for your dry lips', is the subtitle on the little tin. This is the lip balm Lush has been producing for more than 10 years and I think it's the most popular lip product they sell.

Both tins contain 8g of product and are €8,30 and I personally think this is quite expensive for a lip balm. I do think the tin will last any user a very long time, though, as you only need a very small amount to cover your lips and leave them feeling well-nourished.

Both lip balms are perfect to prepare your lips with before using lipstick, by the way: they create a perfect base.

Have you ever tried a Lush lip balm? Let me know! Have a beautiful day - Sjoukje.

  2. Never tried their lip balms but you absolutely must try to lip scrubs from Lush… I have a candy floss flavour and it gets rid of all the dry bits that I would normally chew at. Seriously it changed my life and I still have some in the tub, lasts forever :)

  3. Hm... I don't really like lip balms out of tins and you are right as well: It's sooo expensive. Everything from Lush is... But thanks for recommending :)

  9. I haven't yet tried a Lush lip balm but the best one I've ever come across is the Nuxe Rêve de Miel one. Unfortunately, it's even a little more expensive than the Lush ones but it lasts a really long time and nothing's ever been better at nourishing my lips - honestly, nothing!

  11. I love LUSH products but I've never tried their lipbalms, but I am VERY tempted now because I have a thing for lipbalms! I have lipbalms everywhere, just in case, my bag, my bedside table, my pencil case... :) I think I have an addiction to them! I love the fact that these are vegan, too, major brownie points in that case!

  13. I bought the Whipstick lip balm. It smells really good and it lets my lips moisturised and soft. But I have to admit sometimes the smell makes me nauseous.
