Paris Day Two

Good day everybody! I recently wrote about my little two-day trip to Paris (check the post out here!) and this is part two of this little diary. This day: a trip to the Louvre museum, a failed trip to Musée d'Orsay and going back home. Enjoy!

(I took this photograph in the Centre Pompidou the day before, by the way!)
What a beautiful sky.. unlike Thursday, the weather was really good on Friday.

School assignments.. will they ever leave me alone? (yes, in a few months, if all's well!)

Extremely over-priced souvenirs of which I bought none.
Such a talented man! How is it possible to copy a painting this realistically?!

The queue in front of the Louvre museum was very long so we didn't visit Musée d'Orsay anymore. We had some extra free time instead, which I appreciated greatly! I underestimated the length of the Champs-Élysées though - just like the prices of a regular cup of tea in average restaurants and coffee places - 14 euros (!) wasn't a crazy price. Insane!

 Yay!

 Give peas a chance! hehe
And it was time to leave sunny Paris again..
Au revoir, Paris!

Even though I didn't see too much of Paris itself (I was there for two days, visited two museums and rushed through the Champs Élysées) I had two very lovely days. I hope you liked this little plog (photolog!) - Much love, Sjoukje

    1. Tea, not coffee. I obviously can't read. Doesn't make it any more reasonable though.

I want to visit Paris so bad, me and by boyfriend are planning for the end of this year or maybe next year. We'll see.
But 14 euros for tea is too much.. haha anyways, I am glad you enjoyed even though it was just two days xx

  6. I have a love-hate relationship with Paris (smelly urine-scented streets, lots of people.... but stunning museums and a vibrant art scene). Seeing these kinds of posts just make me miss France so much and makes me realise how fortunate I am to have an excuse to go there often (family)! I love this post :)

  8. Did you have a great time?? Looks like you at least got some beautiful weather! Museums take up so much time, it really leaves little to do the whole "get lost in the streets" type thing.
