I love posting my monthly love posts but I didn't really find any new recommendations in the month of April - that's why I skipped a month. May was a very successful month, though - I had my final exams and with final exams comes a lot of procrastination, thus the discovering of new loves!
Angus & Julia Stone
I've known their songs for quite a long time but I never actually decided to give their songs a proper listen. Wish I'd done this earlier - I love their style!
Our garden is beautiful: there are so many colors and all the flowers smell so nice. Having a fresh bouquet in my room whenever all the flowers are in bloom is a must. Favorites: tulips.
Face creams with SPF
I'm quite lazy when it comes to face moisturizers - I like using them but I tend to go for the cheaper and nice-smelling ones. I do feel like protecting my skin during the sunnier months is quite important, though - I've burnt my nose about 20 times already and looking like a lobster is not one of my favorite things in the world.
Lars Kepler - Stalker
After a long period of time of reading young adult novels I'm slowly getting back into reading thrillers - the genre I've always loved and always will love. Lars Kepler's books are amazing and so is his newest one, Stalker.
The Place Beyond The Pines
I'd never heard of this movie in my life but I stumbled upon the trailer on a day I spent YouTubing (yes, that's a hobby of mine, hehe). "A motorcycle stunt rider turns to robbing banks as a way to provide for his lover and their newborn child, a decision that puts him on a collision course with an ambitious rookie cop navigating a department ruled by a corrupt detective." Ryan Gosling is the motorcycle stunt rider, Bradley Cooper is the ambitious rookie cop. Enough said?
Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs
I blogged about this perfume about one thousand years ago but the weather has been better later, which means it's time to dust off summery perfumes again - including this amazing one by Marc Jacobs. It's my favorite perfume ever and I'm glad the perfume matches the season again.
I've been trying to watch my expenses lately and I recently visited a vintage kilo sale as well. I've discovered many new awesome 'old' items (and I'll share some of them with you, soon).
I didn't know what to do with my life after finishing watching How I Met Your mother. The quest for a new series had been going on for a while and I'm glad I discovered Gossip Girl. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit I'd never seen even one episode before but I'm glad I gave the series a shot - and even though it's so different compared to all the other series I usually watch, I'm loving it. XOXO.
I feel like I discovered quite a few new things this month. Where April was an extremely boring one (I didn't even share an 'April Loves' last month as I didn't feel like I had anything to share), this month was better. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for me based on this little list of things I loved.
