I love smoothies and if I don't watch what I do, I'd whip up a fruity drink at least 5 times a day. Smoothies are good, delicious - blah blah, but sometimes, just sometimes, you want to add one extra ingredient which takes the fruity taste away and makes it a bit more bitter.. a bit more vegetable-y. I've been playing around with adding numerous vegetables to my daily smoothies and many of them I disliked - the green color often put me off as well. I also don't think I'd like an all-green smoothie, without any fruitiness, so I've created this super easy drink which I think fruit-lovers, but vegetable-lovers as well will love. Bare with me!
one big banana
a cup of orange juice
Put these ingredients in your blender, make sure the gross looking mixture turns into a smooth and beautiful orange smoothie and pour this deliciousness into a cup. Add a straw, put on a relaxing tune - and you've created the perfect atmosphere to give yourself that much-needed boost.
