My Favorite Illustrators

Hi there! I love a good illustration - especially when they are hand-drawn, florally, and happy. The internet is the perfect place to discover new illustrators and stay up-to-date with the best ones and I'm so excited to share my absolute favorites with you! Most of these I've followed for months - some of the illustrators mentioned below are new favorites. Anyways - make sure to read the rest of this post to discover some very talented artists!

oana befort

Oana Befort makes gorgeous watercolor illustrations. You'll find many flowers, animals and other natural elements in her paintings - that's what I love! Her illustrations never fail to cheer my up - oh, and one tip: she publishes a monthly calendar (almost) every new month. Perfect to use as a wallpaper on your computer! - www.oanabefort.com

liekeland

I think you'll recognize Lieke's drawings if you're familiar with Flow Magazine - I actually didn't know she made the illustrations, until I stumbled upon one of her postcards in a little shop which actually is one of my favorites now. 'Lieke van der Vorst, you don't know her?' - is what the shop owner  asked me - and I immediately Googled her when I got home. I'm glad I did! I own many of her cards now and they beautifully decorate my otherwise boring wall. - www.liekeland.nl

robynmakesthings

Robyn makes cute drawings - if you like sloths and dogs, I'm sure you'll love her illustrations. I hope I will one day be like the woman in the left picture - with a good life behind me, a dog in the basket on my bike and awesome sunglasses. Until then, I'll just have Robyns pictures to admire. - www.cargocollective.com/robynmakesthings

nicholas stevenson

I'd been a fan of Essiebutton's blog for quite a while until I realized I really wanted to know who made the beautiful illustrations for her blog. A little note in the bottom right corner of her blog gave me the crucial information - Nicholas Stevenson. I check out his web page on a regular basis right now, and I get very excited when he adds new drawings. His drawings are a bit less feminine than the other illustrator's drawings which is a nice change. - www.nicholasstevenson.com

sarah rimington

Sarah Rimington (lacun.a) on Instagram has been one of my favorite Instagrammers for quite a while now. She makes unique illustrations of (mainly) girls with flowers in their hair, funny noses and lovely patterns. She makes illustrations of objects other than girls as well, an example is the Dr Marten depicted above. I love her style! - https://www.facebook.com/lacunaillustration?fref=ts
